Club Rules for the 2024-2025 Season
With your player commitment, you will be expected to attend all practices and tournaments to the best of your ability. Excessive practice absence may lead to less tournament playing time or dismissal (coaches' decision). Also, see rule #10!
Players will respect coaches, teammates and officials. Disrespect will not be tolerated.
All players and staff will respect all equipment and facilities that are used.
If an athlete will be absent from practice, a text, phone call or email needs to be sent to the coach prior to practice.
Injured players are still encouraged to attend practice, if possible.
Boyfriends/Girlfriends are welcome to attend tournaments. However, they are not allowed in the team area at any time. Tournaments are a time for TEAM. Separating yourself from the TEAM on gameday is not acceptable.
Social Media: Any negative posts regarding Black Rose Volleyball Club, its coaches, players, or staff, may result in dismissal.
Parents: Any issues that need to be addressed can be discussed with the coach/club director 24 hours after an event. Any disciplinary actions for inappropriate behavior (on or off the court) will be handled in a professional manner by the Club Director and coaching staff.
Players are not dismissed from a tournament until all camping areas are clean and all work group assignments are completed. Always remember, this is a TEAM sport!
Playing time is never guaranteed. It is EARNED!!!
Due to problems developing at other clubs, we have adopted the following policy: A parent will not be permitted to be the head coach of any team that their child is a part of. They are more than welcome to be assistant coaches. We do not wish to encourage favoritism or negative outcomes to arise due to parental relationships with athletes. Thanks for understanding!!!
